For kids with a basic programming foundation or electronic enthusiasts, advanced learners and Arduino engineering enthusiasts, this is a good tool for learning and exploring.
It contains a control board, two motors, two tracks, a photocell sensor, an ultrasonic module, an infrared receiver module, an 8*16 LED panel and a Bluetooth module, etc.
This kit does not include batteries, you need to bring your own 2 18650 batteries.
The KEYESTUDIO Building Smart Robotic Tank Car Starter Kit is a small, inexpensive robot platform which provides you with the basic tools needed to experiment with robot and arduino-based programming.
Before starting any project, you need to get your Arduino talking to your computer. This allows you to write and compile code for the Arduino to execute, as well as providing a way for your Arduino to work alongside your computer.
Children without programming experience may require parents’ guidance. If you don’t have Arduino programming experience, and you can’t determine if the product is suitable for you, search for keywords in Google Browsers “Keyestudio Ks0428” you can preview its Wiki online tutorial.

About Fun and Creativity 8×16 LED Panel
You can create facial expressions, patterns or other interesting displays yourself by the KEYESTUDIO 8*16 LED light board which comes with 128 LEDs. The data of the microprocessor (arduino) communicates with the AiP1640 through the two-wire bus interface, so as to control the 128 LEDs on the module, which produce the patterns you need on dot matrix. To facilitate wiring, we also provide a HX-2.54 4Pin wiring.

Bluetooth Control Robot
This Robotic Car Kits includes a HM-10 BLE-4.0 module which support iOS system and Android system. We have provided a BT Controller App, which can be installed on your Android or iOS Phone and start transmitting the data. The app on the mobile connects with the BLE network, and then when a button is pressed on the screen of the app, the corresponding command is sent over the network to Arduino. User can use various commands like moving forward, reverse, stop move left, move right, tilt azimuth control, and control other functions. Note: 1.You Should Allow App to Access “Location” in Settings of Your Cellphone When Connecting to Bluetooth Module. 2.Remove the Bluetooth module before uploading test code, otherwise, you will fail to upload the code.
It has great features like the light follow, ultrasonic sensors and can be controlled using an IR remote or a mobile phone as well.
Light Follow Robot
We combine with photoresistor module, motor driving, to build a light-following robot! You just need to use 2 photoresistor modules to detect the light intensity at the both side of robot. Read the analog value to rotate the 2 motors, thus drive the tank robot run. Upload code on keyestudio V4.0 development board, put the DIP switch to right end and power it, the smart robot follows light to move.
Ultrasonic Follow Tank
We can make use of ultrasonic sensor to detect the distance between robot car and front obstacles. Control the motor rotating by measured data, thus control the motion of robot car. Put the obstacle (its surface is preferably flat) with an appropriate distance in front of the robot, the robot will move with the obstacles. The 8×16 LED matrix panel will light up and display the moving icon.
Obstacle Avoiding Robot
Obstacle Avoiding Robot is an intelligent device which can automatically sense the obstacle in front of it and avoid them by turning itself. The basic principle behind the working of ultrasonic sensor is to note down the time taken by sensor to transmit ultrasonic beams and receiving the ultrasonic beams after hitting the surface. The 8×16 LED matrix panel will light up and display the moving icon.
Infrared Remote Control
You can also use the infrared remote control to navigate your own mini tank robot, compared to the mobile app control, it is easier to operate. 8X16 LED panel displays the movement status of the car in the form of arrows or text.
